Shoe Storage. Wednesday , September 13th , 2017 - 08:28:03 AM
How many pairs of shows do you own? Whether you have a passion for flip flops, high heels, knee length boots, business shoes, trainers, loafers, moccasins, platforms or slippers... We can all build up quite a shoe collection over the years without even trying. So where do they all belong? First of all, collect up all your shoes from around the house (including your partner`s and your kids` shoes) so you know exactly what you`re dealing with. Decide if you`re going to throw any out or donate them to charity, then count how many "keepers" you`ve got.
Most men and women own at least a pair of shoes. They are a fashion statement on the runway and on the field of sports. If you are the type of person who has a fondness for collecting shoes, storage can be a problem. There is an array of options for storage. Here are some ideas that will help you keep your shoes without having to suffer from clutter. Try sorting out shoes that are worn on an occasional basis. Keep them out of sight by storing them in plastic shoe storage boxes. If your closet is already full of them, try resorting to other ideas. Don`t be afraid to be creative.
If you go with a shoe storage bench in the living room, you probably want to get a model that has a door that opens outward. When the door is closed, your shoe storage area looks just like your average bench and visitors can use it for additional seating when they stop by. No one can even tell that you have your favorite pumps hidden inside. When everyone leaves, you can pop open the door, sit down on the bench and decide which pair of fabulous open toed sandals you`re going to wear to dinner that night. Close the door up and voila! - it`s a bench again.
